Hi, Friends!

Tonight, we feature a collaborative set with Sugar Pea Designs called Shiver Me Timbers! This set is full of fun pirate-themed stamps and I love that the adorable Chunky Monkey is in this stamp set!

I’m trying challenge myself to create new and fun scenes using Stamptember sets and today, I decided to make a boat/ship for the characters. I used an oval die to die-cut brown cardstock, then drew lines for planks before adding Copic markes to add dimension. For the portholes, I punched 1/2″ circles in white, colored a black ring around the outer edges and then added little dots using a white gel pen.

I die-cut waves from blue cardstock and ink-blended the sky with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. After stamping my images, I colored with Copic markers.

Reds:  R22, R24, R27, R59, R20 (cheeks)
Browns:  E000, E51, E11, E31, E35, E37
Grays:  C2, C4, C6, C8
Black:  110
Blue-Grays:  BG70, BG72
Greens:  YG23, YG25
Yellows:  Y13, YR23
Blues:  B01, B04

To frame in my scene, I used another oval die to die-cut a white panel and finished by adding an embossed sentiment at the bottom of my scene.
