Simon Says Stamp – My Favorite Things STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

Welcome back to another STAMPtember release! Tonight, we’re featuring the collaborative set by My Favorite Things called Purrfect Friends. If you’re a cat-lover, this set is calling your name!

I selected two images and colored them with Copic Markers.

Tiger Cat: [E11, E13, E17], [YR20, YR21, YR23, YR24]
Simese Cat: E40, E41, E42, E43, W4, W5, W7

My bacgkround is ink-blended with Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. To give the panel more texture, I die-cut it first with the Skinny Stripes – Vertical die, then I splaattered it with water and dark teal paint.

Then, I die-cut the Scripty Smile die in black and white and staggered them for a little shadow. The sub-sentiment is embossed in white over black cardstock. Fun fact – the Scripty Smile die is designed by me! I wanted to use it on this card since it’s been a while since I’ve used it. The cats are then adhered above with foam adhesive.
