A couple of days before Christmas, my friend Linda, who I’ve known since middle school, asked me if i could design a new logo for her. Linda is a talented photographer in the Bay Area in California where I grew up. She’s very talented and I love her work. I’ve never done anything like this before – no one’s really ever asked me to do anything so official! So I was excited and nervous at the same time – afraid that I wasn’t going to be able to create anything she had in mind. Usually, I go straight for the piece of cardstock and just start drawing. But this time, I scribbled through an entire lined notebook until we both agreed on a look. I think I was a bit dizzy after inhaling so much permanent ink. I got to working on it right away (since I’m not satisfied unless I get any projects done ASAP) and this was her Christmas present!

She’s pretty talented! I’d like to see some images with the logo on the photo but I’m sure she’ll do some of that eventually!
