I’ve been pushing myself this past week to do more of what makes me happy – which is a great distraction from work and frustrates me – but I’m so fulfilled by paper crafting. People I don’t know are subscribing to YouTube channel and I feel so immensely blessed in every way to be able to capture love through my small projects. Thank you everyone for your support – I am so grateful!
I made a gift bag and wanted to share it with you all. You can make many variations of it…I’ve seen a lot of different dies that you can use – but why spend that much money for dies that you have to cut and piece together when you already have everything you need? I made my dimensions convenient – I started with a 5 x 8.5 piece of cardstock but you can literally cut a standard piece of paper/cardstock (8.5″ x 11″) in half and get two 5.5″ x 8.5″ pieces – it’ll just be a little taller than what I made here – and you can get 2 cut gift bags out of one piece of cardstock. No waste??? YES, please!
Instructions: With the chosen cardstock in landscape orientation on your scoring tool, score at 3″, 4″, 7″, and 8″. Rotate paper clockwise and score at 1″. Trim off bottom right hand corner (smallest rectangle). Cut bottom flaps and assemble!
I made a tag using my Scalloped Punch Tag Topper and stamped using the Best Day Ever Stamp Set and tied it off with Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana ribbon. In one of my bags, I used an oval die to make handles instead of tying it closed.
Colors: Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry
