Hello!
I’m back for week 2 of the Concord & 9th Release feature!
This week, we’re featuring the Birthday Stacks Bundle – including a fun stamp set and coordinating dies.
I made 4 cards using each of the 4 main stamps in this stamp set. The dies were designed to create interactive, pop-up cards or can be used as edge dies on cards or tags.
My first card features a row of presents. I colored the images using various Copic markers and embossed the sentiment using a stamp from the Everyday Greetings set featured in the previous post. The die that coordinates with this stamp set makes this acetate card easy to create – you can easily quadruple the panels to glue on the acetate to hide all the adhesive.
Here’s an acetate card hack: Get clear cover sheets! They’re made for binding books, but they’re perfectly clear and come in high-quality full-sized sheets an can be cut down perfectly for cards. YOU’RE WELCOME! 😉 (it’s linked in the supplies section below).
Copic colors used: Y02, YR15, Y15, R89, R39, R08, BG11, BG32, BG34
The next card features the banner image from the stamp set. Instead of using the coordinating banner die, I used the Celebrate die to give the card some off-the-edge interest. I stamped Versamark ink over the die-cut word and embossed it using gold embossing powder twice. I left this card pretty clean and simple, but added two balloons towards the bottom right to finish off the card.
Here’s a close-up of the embossed word that I used in the previous card and in my next project:
For the third card, I used the same die as above, but stamped the row of balloons on the card instead. The card is side-folding card so I cut the base behind the die cut so they it’s free-floating. I embossed the die-cut the same way I did the previous card. I stuck with the same color scheme also to keep the card theme cohesive.
Last but not least, I used the row of birthday candles for my last card. This card was the cleanest and simplest card I made – but I don’t think it needed anymore! I colored the images using Copic markers and stamped the sentiment in black just below the row of candles and called it done.
Copic colors used: V01, V12, V15, B000, B21, BG11, BG32, BG34
I’ll be back next Friday to share 4 more cards using the Concord & 9th Wonderful Florals stamp set and dies! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hurry and get these products before they sell out and remember that when you spend $60 between now and 3/8/2018, you can earn the following Hooray die for free!
XOXO,
SUPPLIES

These are really great cards, Caly! I am always afraid to try the partial die-cutting technique, but you totally rocked them!! Looking forward to more creations!

These dies make it easy so that you don’t have to partial cut! Partial cutting makes me nervous too! hehe
