Hi Friends!

I’m so excited for the Pinkfresh Studio July Release today!  There are so many amazing products, so please be sure to hop along to see all the different products by the Pinkfresh Studio card design team!

I created a card using the Merry & Bright Toy Shop and let me tell you – it has my heart in a time warp….  I didn’t have much growing up, so I lived vicariously through Christmas movies and this card reminds me of that feeling!

The Merry & Bright die cuts and embosses the card front to resemble the front of a toy shop – how cool is that?!  The details are so intricate.  I could’ve left this layer bright and white, but I decided to give it some color using Copics.  Instead of writing down the colors, I’ve taken a photo to give you a visual of all the colors used on this card:

Once I colored everything, I stamped the sentiment on the space above the toyshop.  I adhered the Christmas tree, lights, and rocking horse onto the back of the panel.  Then I added foam tape to give those things priority in the window.

I carefully added the other images in the background on the card base after lightly ink-blending with some Tumbled Glass distress ink.

To give some more detail and highlights, I used my white Sakura Gelly Roll.

To finish this fun card, I added glossy accents over the sentiment, the ornaments, string lights, and snow globe.  EEP!!!  I love it so much and I think I’m ready for Christmas now!
