Hi Friends!

I’m here to share some projects with you made using the Spellbinders Large Die Kit of the Month.  This month’s die makes tea light holders!  How fun is that?  I’ve also used them to make some quick and simple cards.

Everything is die-cut using black paper.  For the tea light holders, there is an outline die you  can use to help you construct the cube.  It’s super easy!  I simply backed each panel with white vellum.

There is also a die for the base –  I cut two for each holder to also line the bottom of the inside for a cleaner look and sturdier feel.

I made three to give to my boys’ teachers :).  I also made 3 cards to share with you and to go along with each tea light holder.

I ink-blended the open space behind each die-cut panel using distress oxide inks.  Once dry, I dabbed on Versamark ink directly to the inked area and covered it with WOW Clear Hologram Embossing Powder.

A bit of sparkle and shine always makes a card more fun!  Hope you enjoyed these projects and that it inspires you!
