The Spellbinders Large Die Kit of the Month is here and it’s available for purchase. I’m really excited about it because it’s an interactive flip card! I’ve made a card today using the dies only and no stamping. This is rare for me but since one of the dies is a sentiment, I didn’t need to stamp and using patterned paper cuts out a lot of busy work that I didn’t need to do with stamping or ink-blending to add interest to a blank canvas.
You can flip the card in any direction. In fact, I made holiday cards that flip the opposite direction and the Spellbinders blog shows the card made with the card flipping back! I think it’s fascinating to see how people use these dies in different ways!
All of the flowers and folliage are die cut using dies from this kit – everything you need to create a fun card. And all the paper I use today is from the same paper pack from Pinkfresh Studio’s Indigo Hills 2 collection – in addition to the coordinating enamel dots. I just love this color palette!
When flipped open, you can see the floral arrangement from the front and reveals another on the circle flip portion of the card. How fun is that?! I hope you like this card! You can create it with any patterned paper collection that you love and change the colors up to create any fun look.
