I’m back today for the final installment the Newton’s Nook’s Deck the Halls with Inky Paws event and we’re ending it with a blog hop!

I’m sharing a card today using Frozen Friends and a new set called Snowman Advice – I love this sentiment set!

I started by arranging smaller individual stamps from the Frozen Friends stamp set on an acrylic block.  I stamped the images all over a light blue piece of cardstock and embossed them using platinum embossing powder.  Using the emboss-resist technique, I used  Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink to blend color around the edges, giving the card this vignette/halo look.

I stamped and fussy cut one snowman from the Frozen Friends stamp set to color using Copics (0, C0, C1, R00, V01, V12, V15, Y19, YR15, R05, R29, BG11, BG34, E34) to use as a focal image to accompany the large sentiment.

I used a scallop frame die to frame the sentiment.  Once again, I used the emboss-resist technique to ink sponged Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide inks on the small sentiment panel to give it some color.  I also splattered small water droplets to give the panel some added interest.  I used Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed the sentiment using clear ink, also including a snowflake at the bottom.  I think the snowman adhered int he bottom corner finishes this card off nicely.
