Welcome to today’s blog hop celebrating Pink and Main’s 5th Birthday!
I’ve created two cards for today – using the new Bee Day stamp set and the Happy Birthday dies.
To create the cards, I first started by stamping all the images from the Bee Day stamp set and colored them using various Copic markers: C4, C6, R20, BV02, B60, B0000, B01, G00, BG34, RV11, R83, Y13, Y26, Y38, Y00, YR27, G40, YG06, E31, E25.
On the first card, I die cut the Happy Birthday words out of black and white cardstock and adhered them together. Using a window die, I cut a rectangle from a card front.
I ink-blended Spun Sugar and Festive Berries Distress Oxide Inks in the open area under the window on the card base before adhering the card front over the top. The word happy birthday is then adhered over the top using foam adhesive for dimension, then I added the bee in the open window to finish the card.
My second card is created by ink-blending a card panel using Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks. After blending, I sprayed it with some water droplets and added some white paint splatters.
I die-cut a white frame and adhered it to the ink-blended panel using foam adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment on black paper and embossed it with white embossing powder. Adding foam adhesive to the sentiment banner and remaining images, I adhered it all to the ink-blended panel before adhering it to a card base.
