Hi, Friends!

We’re celebrating Pinkfresh Studio’s 5th birthday today! What a fun celebration and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by! Today, I’m using my FIRST Pinkfresh Studio set – Magical Unicorn! I love this whimsical set and was excited to play with it for this blog hop – and I thought it was perfect for celebrating Pinkfresh’s birthday.

To create my card, I started with ivory cardstock. I felt starting with an off-white color could give it a bit of color without too much effort. I lined up the unicorns eyes in my MISTI tool and stamped it first. Then I ink-blended some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink for the blush and Mermaid Lagoon all around the edges of the cardstock, creating a frame for the unicorn’s face.

I stamped the unicorn horn using a light ink, then colored it in a rainbow pattern using colored pencils. The flowers and leaves are stamped on colored cardstock, die-cut, and brushed with a coordinating ink to add color and dimension.

After cutting out all the pieces, I adhered the unicorn horn and arranged the floral crown. To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment using the purple ink from the flowers and added some Nuvo drops to the flower centers.
