Hello again!
Sharing another card using the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System today. Today’s card is a bit more colorful because I’m using a fuchsia-colored foil. I love that there are so many colors of foil to play with and there are new glimmer hot foil plates coming out all the time.
I really wish you could see the foil better with photos taken straight-on. They really don’t do the card any justice when the foil shows up dark. I’m so very sorry for that. I feel like every time I take photos of my foiled and sparkly projects, they don’t turn out as I’d hope.
Today’s card uses two foil plates – the Scattered Dot Patterns plate, and the Thank You Very Much plate. I love the dotted background – so versatile! I did the background in gold over light pink cardstock and the Thank You Very Much using fuchsia foil over vellum.
I was really just experimenting with vellum – and learned that the foil does have a hard time transferring – full disclosure! But the result is still beautiful and I love being able to layer it over the dotted pink background.
I hope you enjoyed this! Foiling can be so much fun and helps you create projects that don’t have to require a lot of coloring and stamping. It really pushes me to create differently than I normally would.

I do love foil and these colors are gorgeous! The Scattered Dot Pattern just became a “must have”, you are right – so many uses for that one. I had not thought about foiling on vellum, glad you tried it first lol, now I know I will probably have to try quite a few times to get it right 🙂 Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration!!
