Welcome to Pretty Pink Posh’s April Release Blog Hop! There are lots of awesome new products and I had a hard time choosing what to work with. I’m sharing a card today made using the new Peonies stamp set along with the Lattice Background die.
I started by stamping and coloring my peonies and leaves using Copic markers. When I was done coloring, I die-cut the images and highlighted the images with a white gel pen. Then splattered them with watered-down white acrylic paint.
I die-cut the lattice background using white cardstock, then set it aside to work on the background. I folded a top-folding card base and ink-blended it with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. I sprayed it with water droplets for some added texture.
I added the lattice background to the card base ad adhered all my images the lattice background using liquid adhesive and foam adhesive. The sentiment is from the Birdie Friends stamp set. I embossed it over black cardstock using white embossing powder and wedged it under one of the flowers.
