Hi, Friends!

I’m so excited to be playing with another Ink Blog Shop release! Botanical Borders was such a huge hit (at least, I thought so!) and I was sooo happy to see Tifany had designed a second set! The Botanical Borders 2 set is so versatile and incorporates other seasons/themes.

I chose the poppies for today’s card. I stamped the border on white cardstock and colored with Copic Markers (RV11, R83, R56, Y08, YG05, G03, G09).

I fussy-cut the border and ink-blended the background using Distress Oxide Inks (Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick) over light pink cardstock.

I splattered the panel with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink, water splatters, and white paint. Once that was dry, I embossed the sentiment and hearts with white embossing powder.
