I’m a part of an Instagram Hop for Altenew today celebrating 50 thousand followers. Congratulations to Altenew! I’m so happy to be celebrating with them there but thought I would also blog my card for today to share details with you here.
This card is straight forward, believe it or not! The background is created with Altenew’s Peach Gold Washi Tape! I simply adhered the washi tape to my piece of white cardstock and trimmed off the excess washi. SO SIMPLE!
The Sweet Rose Bouquet flowers and foliage are stamped with Altenew ink (Firefly, Grass Field, Shadow Creek, Mountain Pine, Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine, and Cosmic Berry). After stamping, I die-cut the images and splattered both the background and images with white and black ink to give it extra interest.
The sentiment is from the Cross-Stitch Flower stamp set, which I embossed in white over black cardstock. I adhered the foliage down directly to the card front, and the flowers using foam adhesive. The sentiment is also adhered using foam adhesive. To finish the card, I added iridescent sequins all over in various sizes to give it some additional sparkle.
