Hi, Friends!
As promised, I have a summer-themed Pretty Pink Posh card to share with you! Before I started this, I had a few ideas in mind and thought I’d make at least two cards…but I always spend too much time on ONE card that I can’t find the time to make another using the same die. Today’s card features the Beach Scene die!

So my initial goal was to Copic color (which I’m sharing today), and also cut the die 7-10 times in different color cardstocks and piece it all back together. But it took me way too long to finish this card so I stopped – LOL. I might make another and share the second way another time, but I think you get the idea!

[Y11, Y17], [B000, B12], [BG01, B16], [R05, R29], [Y18, Y17], [E31, E25], [G03, G16], [E53, E23, E29, E49]
For this card, I cut the die out ONCE time and colored each individual piece with Copic markers. After coloring, I die cut the surfboard portion twice more to give it some extra dimension, glued them together and added a nice layer of glossy accents to give it some extra umph! TIP: Turn the die over and place the pieces back in, right side down to get the pieces to fit perfectly into their place (I left out the surfboard and used scotch tape to keep the pieces together, popped it out, and put the surfboard piece on top, then added the glossy accents and set it aside to dry).

For the background, I used a light blue piece of cardstock to stencil the Waves over the top. I ink-blended first with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink, then added the darker shade of Faded Jeans around the outer edges. After removing the stencil, I ink-blended all over the corners again using Faded Jeans. I splattered the panel with water and white ink (my favorite and signature to-do, I think!). The sentiment is die-cut 3 times using the new Happy Summer Script Die and adhered together for dimension.
I hope you enjoyed this!!! I really love the gloss over the surfboard (HEART EYES!)

Love what you did with this die cut! What a great idea you had. The Copic coloring added so much more dimension to it! The sand and surfboard are my favorite parts. Wow! The red color and that glossy accent really did the trick! That surfboard completely pops! I LOVE IT!😍😍😍

Reading this months later in November wishing I was on the beach instead of in a jacket 😂
