In celebration of Hero Arts’ 45th Anniversary, a number of companies are interested in celebrating the industry with Hero Arts. Hero Arts is honored and humbled that Concord & 9th is sharing in the celebration by designing a special “Partners” Hero Arts + Concord & 9th 6×8 clear set and other related products.  They are available on www.HeroArts.com starting June 26th  (today) and will be available online and in a store near you starting July 10. The new Props Turnabout stamp set is the new stamp set that was created to coordinate with Hero Arts’ Rounded Rectangles Infinity Dies.  Amazing, right? Saying it again…I LOVE this community.

I used the Concord & 9th Jig (which will be available at Hero Arts also so you can get it all in the same place) to help me line up my turnabout and cardstock before stamping in my MISTI tool. Such an invaluable tool (both the jig and the MISTI)! I chose 4 colors since there are 4 rotations – Mint Julep, Soft Pool, Soft Lilac, and Soft Blossom. After stamping all these colors, I restamped them all using Embossing and Watermark Ink and embossed the entire panel with clear embossing powder – this gives it all a bit of shine and dimension.

The center of the panel is stamped with coordinating colors and cut using Hero Arts’ Rounded Rectangles Infinity Dies. I decided to mat the panels with some Hero Hues Lavender cardstock to give the panels more definition. The sentiment and star are both stamped with watermark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

Before adhering the sentiment panel to the card panel, I added foam adhesive and some gold thread to give it some extra interest. I finished off the card by adding some clear dew drops.

Such an encouraging set, right? A definite must have! This stamp set and other related tools and supplies start shipping first week of July (but ready to order now if you don’t want to wait) – so you can add it to your My Monthly Hero (MMH) box! Countdown to creativity starts Friday and the MMH kits will be available for purchase on Monday, July 1st!
