Pretty Pink Posh – Elephant Friends

Hello!

I’m back today to share a card for Pretty Pink Posh using the Elephant Friends stamp set – this set is so sweet and I’m finally getting around to using it!

I started by stamping and coloring my images with Copic Markers – pretty straight forward since elephants don’t require a lot of colors. I used the following for my elephants: W0, W1, W3, W5; for the flower: FY62, YG07, G19, G00, BG11, BG32; for the blush: R20.

After coloring, I die-cut and set my images aside to work on my background. I started by ink-blending the center with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink. Then I ink-blended around it with Peacock Feathers, blending it with the Scattered straw. Then I placed my Leaves Stencil over the panel and ink-blended the leaves on with Mermaid Lagoon.

I also ink-blended a separate panel using Peacock Feathers to use the Scallop Borders 2 die to cut out the scalloped hill. I trimmed my original panel on the top and sides by 1/8″ each and then adhered the scalloped hill over it with and overhang to adhere to an A2-sized card base. I then adhered my elephants and flower to the card and stamped my sentiment to finish it off. A pretty simple card with only a few images, but I hope you like it!
