Simon Says Stamp’s Believe In You Release is here! I’m playing with the Seahorse Background stamp set. The little seahorses are so cute! To get creative, I used this stamp set to make a window card!

I started by embossing a white card panel with the stamp using white embossing powder. After embossing, I ink-blended the panel for some ink-resist using Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks using the Taylored Expressions Blender Brushes – they are fabulous, in case you’re wondering! I really like that the brushes are designed for the different color families. This is what I do with my blending tools currently so this works well for me.

I splattered my panel with some water droplets to add interest then set it aside to work on my window panel. I used 3 different sized circle dies to cut my windows from the Nested Circles die set. I added foam adhesive to the back of this window panel to adhere it over my ink-blended background.

The sentiment is from the Great Things stamp set. I embossed “great things” using Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossing powder and the black sentiment strip using white embossing powder. I had to fussy cut the word “great things” but felt it necessary to cover up the larger window a bit for balance. Then I added the sentiment strip to hang over the window also. To finish my card, I added some Nuvo Glitter Drops in Aquatic Mist. It blends with the colors of the seahorse panel and fills in the white space perfectly!
