I’m back for another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge share!  The theme this time around is Little Things and I’ve created a fun glow-in-the-dark card using Little Fireflies with a few other Lawn Fawn products.

I stamped the images from the Little Fireflies and Toadally Awesome sets and colored them with Copic markers.  Once all the images were colored, I die-cut them and also stamped and embossed the circle images for the fireflies using Glow-in-the-Dark embossing powders for the firefly bottoms (I don’t know the proper terminology for it…lol).

I used the Spiffy Speckles cardstock in green and ink-blended it with some Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink to give it more color before die-cutting it using the Bayou Backdrop die. 

To create my background, I die cut the pond on a blank card panel and ink-blended the ground with Vintage Photo and sky with Broken China.  The pond piece is colored with Copic markers (B00, B12, B24).

Once everything was colored, I began assembling.  First, I added the Bayou Frame using foam adhesive.  Before adding other images, I stamped my sentiment in the pond water.  Then I added the lily pads, lilies, and cattails.  Then I positioned where I wanted my fireflies and first adhered the glow in the dark circles, then the fireflies over that using foam adhesive.  Finally, I stamped the light lines where there was space.
