Hello, Friends!
I’m indulging by making an extra card this month to participate in the Pinkfresh Studio Monthly Challenge. This month’s theme is stitching with a pastel rainbow palette – and I LOVE both these things!
I’ve made a quick card using some dies and incorporated stitching so let’s see it:
I covered a panel of white cardstock with the Rainbow with Splatters Washi Tape. Then I die-cut the Pretty Frames die set in white – the more oval frame in a soft pink to match my stitching. The middle section of the Pretty Frames cuts tiny holes and is perfect for stitching.
I used embroidery floss in a soft pink that matched my pink cardstock and did a backstitch all around the frame, crossing floss to create a twist. The sentiment is die-cut from the Classic Words set. I propped the halo up on foam cardstock, then die-cut the word hello in gold cardstock and adhered that directly over the halo.
To finish my card, I used some Pinkfresh Studio jewels to decorate my card – pink at the four corners, and two on the purple washi area and 3 teal colored jewels on the teal washi area.
