Welcome to a new product release for Pinkfresh Studio! I’ve created two projects for today using the Modern Blooms die.

The Modern Blooms die a full panel die and I’ve made one card using the whole die and a Braided Tag using parts of the Modern Bloom die.

For my card, I die-cut using white cardstock and colored with Copic markers (RV11, R85, G21, YG67, BG57, BG09). Then I die-cut a second panel using Gold Sparkle cardstock. I offset them just a little before adhering them together. For some extra dimension, I first adhered the entire panel to some acetate, then added thin strips of foam adhesive underneath all over to adhere over my background.

The background is created using light pink cardstock that I ink-blended with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink. I ink-blended around the edges and faded towards the center. I splattered the panel with some water and watered-down Worn Lipstick ink and let it dry before attaching my die-cut panel. The sentiment is from the new Floral Vase stamp set, which is embossed in gold over white cardstock. To finish my card, I added a few pink Jewels in various place to add some extra sparkle.

For my tag, I die-cut once more using pink cardstock and ink-blended it with Worn Lipstick. I cut a second tag panel in white without the “braid” to back them together after stamping and embossing the sentiment from No One Compares to You in gold. (Pssssttt….that’s my handwriting if you didn’t know!)

I colored the Modern Blooms the same as before, but I cut out two flowers and only used a part of the die. The sentiment strip is also from the Floral Vase stamp set. To finish my tag, I added some enamel dots from the Indigo Hills 2 collection from Pinkfresh Studio.
