Pretty Pink Posh – Bear & Bee Friends Shaker Card

Hi, Friends!

I’m sharing another shaker card today using Pretty Pink Posh products. Bear Friends is a set from the previous release that I have not yet used. So I’ve combined it today with the Bee Friends set because I couldn’t resist doing something with the honey jar.

I started by coloring my images with Copic markers. Then I die-cut them and set the images aside to work on my background. I used two of the hexagons from the Scallop Hexagon dies, then ink-blended the background with Tumbled Glass and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Inks. The hexagon frames are ink-blended with Wild Honey.

Copic colors used:
Bear: E31, E23, E27, R20
Tree Trunk: E30, E33, E37
Honey Jar: Y11, Y26, YR27
Bees: C6, C8, Y02, Y08, BG10, B000
Leaves: YG06, YG09

I adhered my ink-blended panel directly to a card base that I also ink-blended with Tumbled Glass and splattered it with some water. To create my shaker windows, I adhered some acetate to the back of my Scallop Hexagon frames.

After adding thin strips of foam adhesive all around the frame, I filled the openings with the Easter Confetti Mix. Then I finished the card by adding my colored images over the prepared panel. The sentiment is from the Encouraging Greetings stamp set.
