Hello, Friends!
It’s day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh Product Release Blog Hop! We’re hopping for Pretty Pink Posh to showcase the fabulous new winter products. To see all the new products, click HERE! I’ve created a card using the new Amaryllis set using Copic Markers and colored pencils.
I started by stamping my images with a light ink to do no-line coloring. Then I started coloring the images first using Copic Markers – focusing on the floral centers and leaves with greens (YG11, YG61) and outer edges with pinks (RV11, R22).
Then to add more definition and shading, I went in with Polychromos colored pencils and added lines and veins to the petals and leaves (Dark Red, Juniper Green, and Leaf Green). I then used a drawing pen to draw the center stems back in and colored the centers with Dark Chrome Yellow colored pencil.
I ink-blended a white panel with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink and added my images to it – some directly to the card panel and others with foam adhesive for dimension. Then I splattered white and red acrylic ink over it to give it extra interest. Finally, I added gem stones in Raspberry and embossed a sentiment for the Angel Friends stamp set.
