Hi, Friends!
I’m participating in another Wednesday Sketch Challenge for MFT. This one is a fun one – at least for me! I hope this card will inspire you to play along! Here’s this week’s sketch:

At first glance, I pictured a cute snowman! I have the Secret Santa set that I’ve coveted since last winter when it was released and had to use it for this card so I went a different route with my design.

I did two circular windows to share my images today to imitate the sketch verbatim using the Inside Out Stitched Circle STAX. Then on a card base, I ink-blended Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink where the windows are open on the front panel, then set that aside to work on my images.

I stamped my images and colored them with Copic markers. I adore these sweet images so much and had so much fun coloring them!
COPICS:
Reds: R22, R05, R27, R39
Pinks: R20, RV11, R83, RV34
Yellows: Y00, Y11, Y15, YR23
Greens: YG11, G24, G46
Teals: BG11, BG23, BG49
Blues: B41, B34, B18
Browns: E30, E31, E23, YR27, E19, E08
Grays: C0, C2, C4, C6

When I was done cutting, I die-cut the images and positioned them in the opening of the window and trimmed if I needed to before adhering them down. To give my top panel and windows some dimension, I added foam adhesive to the back side of the front panel before adhering it over the ink-blended card base. I added a few extra images outside those windows and then embossed the sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes stamp set to lay over the bottom circle as it is in the sketch.
I hope you enjoyed my interpretation of this sketch and that you’ll play along. You could have a chance at winning a $50 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
