Hi, Friends!
Welcome to another Build-A-Flower release from Altenew! This month’s flower is the Lavender. Be sure to check out the Altenew Blog to start the blog hop. I felt I needed to make a slimline card to showcase it’s beauty and to share a bundle of lavender, so my card is 4.25″ x 8″ today.

I stamped two of the flowers on a card panel and two others on a separate panel to die-cut for dimension.
Colors used:
Lavender: Wisteria, Hydrangea, Ultraviolet, Andromeda, Jet Black
Foliage: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen
There is an Ink Bundle also. Get the Build-A-Flower Lavendar set along with the following ink cube colors:_______________

After die-cutting the two lavender stems, I adhered them together and added foam adhesive to the back before adhering it over the other two flowers. Using a piercing tool, I pierced 6 holes – 3 on each side of the stems where they meet – and threaded thin twine through them to “tie” them together with a small bow.

To give the card some sparkle, I added some Nuvo Glitter Drops and then stamped the sentiment in the bottom left hand corner using Altenew Obsidian Ink.

The lavender blooms are beautiful. Adding the die cut blooms on top of the stamped images really works well for the card. The little bouquet tied with the bow is perfect. I also think your color choice for the foliage/stems works well as the real lavender plants have a grayish green stems and leaves.
