Today’s card is a fun and cheery card using the Party Lights stamp set. I’ve covered a panel around the borders with light strings. I started first by stamping the light strings using Gumdrop Green ink.
After stamping my strings, I went back through with Wild Cherry, Cornflower, Lemon Drop and Green Room ink to stamp the individual light bulbs on. To give these bulbs some shine, I added clear lacquer over each bulb as well.
While the clear lacquer dry, I started working on my sentiment. I die-cut the Merry and Bright Die-namics using Gold Sparkle card stock and adhered it to a panel of heavy weight vellum. Underneath, I added thin strips of foam adhesive under the letters to give the vellum layer some dimension while still showcasing the Party Lights.
