There’s a new Altenew Build-A-Flower release today and we’re presenting the Stargazer Lily today! It’s a beautiful flower and the layers really help create realistic stamped image. I used the inspiration guide to help me choose my colors for my card – but the possibilities are numerous depending on what colors you’d like to use.

To create my card today, I started by stamping my images with Altenew inks. My flowers are inked with Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Ruby Red, Autumn Blaze inks; Leaves with Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen; and black accent flowers with Jet Black Ink.
After stamping, I die-cut my images and then set them aside to ink-blend my background with Bundled Sage and Pine Needles Distress Oxide Inks. After adhering the first set of flower and leaves towards the top, I added the bottom set with foam adhesive to give it dimension (everything but the black and white images).
At this point, I splattered my panel with white and black paint. When the paint was dry enough to handle (only a few mins), I added my black and white flower clusters. Then I embossed my sentiment in white over black cardstock and added it to my card to complete it.

Those pinks really pop with the aqua background. And I love your idea to do the little flowers in black to make the sentiment pop too. Really well thought out.

Love the pretty pink and aqua color combo on this beautiful lily card, the black and white small flowers and black sentiment strip look pretty to really make the gorgeous colors shine.
