My Favorite Things – 1 Day Until the New Release

Hi, Friends!

This is the last day of the MFT countdown – the release will go live in 24 hours (December 10th at 10am EDT)! Today’s card features the new Bear Hug Bunch set. Fun woodland creatures to create a scene with.

I’m using the moose and owl as my main images. I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers and began creating my background to set up my scene.

Copic colors used: G14, G16, [E30, E33, E35, E39], [E42, E43, E44, E47], BG11, BG13, BG18, R00, R20, Y35

My background is ink-blended with Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass and Shabby Shutters to create a soft glow. Then I used the Grassy Hills die to cut two layers of grass and ink-blended them with Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn. After adhering them to my background, I sprayed the layers with water and splattered some watered-down Peacock Feathers ink.

I stamped my sentiment directly onto my card, centering it at the top before adhering my images to create my scene between the grass layers to create depth to my card.
