My Favorite Things – December 2019 Hits and Highlights – Hearts Entwined

Hits & Highlights is an MFT Team challenge – encouraging us to create cards using themes or particular products. This month, we are finishing off the year and looking forward to the next with with glamorous looks that feature lots of shimmer & shine. Instead of making a new years card, I’m making a card for the next fun holiday that comes to mind.

I used the Color Celebration Glitter Card Stock to die-cut the Hearts Entwined in pink. I die-cut the Hearts Entwined Die-namiic 3 more times using white cardstock to stack for dimension. On a white panel, I ink-blended Grapesicle Dye Ink and splattered it with Boysenberry ink for interest. I used the die once more to create a window for my shaker, added some acetate to the back and in-lay the sparkly, stacked Hearts Entwined to the front.

I added foam adhesive on the backside of my shaker panelI filled the front of a card base with my favorite sequin and jewel mix before placing my top panel over it to seal everything in place. My sentiment is embossed from the Essential Sentiments stamp set.
