Hi, Friends!
This month’s MFT Message In a Bottle Kit will be available tomorrow at 10 am EDT! My card today features the bottle floating on water – the traditional interpretation of a message in a bottle, I think!

I used the Wave Maker Stencil to stencil my waves on a card panel with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. Then, I die-cut my Message In a Bottle window. I put a piece of craftfoam on my card base and centered the die-cut panel before in-laying the piece for the inside of my bottle.

My shaker is created by attaching my shaker pouch to the front panel and sealing it over the craft foam after filling the window with some seed beads. The cork is die-cut from Kraft card stock and colored/dotted with Copic markers E11, E13, and E15. To attach it, I used a kraft knife and cut a slit at the top of the shaker pouch and slid it in. I secured the top portion with foam adhesive. To finish my card, I added some jewels to embellish.

Thanks for stopping by as we countdown until the next MFT Card Kit! I hope you’ll return tomorrow to see what I did for my release card!

Very cute! The seed beads look just like bubbles caught inside the bottle.
