My Favorite Things – Cheers Birthday Challenge

Every month, MFT challenges the team with a theme for the monthly Birthday Project. Babies born in January have double the reason to celebrate! They get to welcome a new calendar year and enjoy the observance of their birth all in the same month. The challenge this month is to recognize both milestones with birthday cards featuring the word cheers.

I used the Impact Alphabet dies to spell the word Cheers on a slimline card. My shaker card today measures 3 3/4″ x 7 3/4″ and the background is created with cardstock stripes in many of the MFT card stock to create a rainbow from top to bottom.

My sentiments are embossed on black card stock using the Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp set and adhered with foam for added dimension. I hope you liked this card because I have a video sharing this card on the MFT blog and YouTube today!
