My Favorite Things – January Vault Release – Green Pastures

The MFT Vault is open and previous well-loved products are available again! Today’s card features the Green Pastures set that I’ve paired with the Barn Die-namics as well as the Farm Fence Die-namics to pull together a country scene.

After stamping and coloring my image from the Green Pastures set, I die-cut my fence and barn and ink-blended to give the pieces more shade and depth. I used Lavender Fields ink over the red barn – which seems odd, and I’ve never used a different color family to shade before but I really wanted something darker than the red card stock that was being used and it worked out really well!

The background is ink-blended with Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. I adhered my fence down first, then the barn and girl using foam adhesive and finished by stamping my sentiment in the open space above my cowgirl.
