The February My Monthly Hero Kit is here! We’re celebrating birthdays! Not only are there several stamps and fun dies, the stamp can be stretched for use because the images can be broken down for individual use. I did this for my countdown card on the Hero Arts Blog. Here’s a recap in case you missed it:
Today, I’m using one of the images to create a repeat pattern on my card. The gift box image stood out to me and I wanted to use it several times to create my card in some manner. I thought about using it to cascade down one side, to create a background and finally decided to assemble them around a focal point (the sentiment) at the center of my card.
I stamped and colored the gift boxes using Copic markers to create a rainbow (Red: RV11, RV14; Yellow: Y00, Y35; Green: G12, G14; Teal: BG11, BG13; Blue: BG000, BG02; Purple: V12, V15; Gold: Y11, Y28).
My background is ink-blended with Taffy Reactive Ink and I sprayed some water to add texture before stamping my sentiment and adding my images using foam adhesive. For further dimension, I added my panel to a cardbase using craft foam.

Beautiful card. Love how you made a smaller stamp the focal point. It helps me when looking at a kit if I can use it for teens as well as adults & kids.
