Hi, Friends!
We’ve got a new challenge for Lawn Fawnatics and the theme is LOVE! The color palette is so colorful and I couldn’t choose just one or a few colors so I used them all!
I die-cut my XOXO Backdrop in white and used it as a stencil to dot colors using Distress Markers to give me an idea of where the colors need to be. Then I removed the panel and colored larger dots of color and misted it with water to allow the color to move a round a little bit before dabbing it with a paper towel to remove the excess water.
To decorate my panel, I die-cut a stitched heart from the Stitched Heart Stackables dies using Tickled Pink cardstock and ink-blended it with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink. I also die-cut the Scripty XOXO in Mermaid cardstock and ink-blended it with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I stacked the Scripty XOXO die-cut 3 more times using white cardstock to add height.
Finally, I attached my colored images from the Stud Muffin set and stamped my sentiment over Tickled Pink cardstock. The Lawn Fawnatics Blog post shares cards from our entire design team – so be sure to check it out!
