My Favorite Things – February 2020 Birthday Project – Joyful Heart Bears

Every month, the team finds new ways to celebrate the month’s birthdays by making it special. “Hearts are a universal symbol of love. While February is typically thought of as a month to celebrate a Valentine’s Day type of love, birthday cards can also be thought of as an expression of our love for the birthday boy or girl.”

My card is certainly filled with hearts for a sweet birthday! I used the Joyful Heart Bears set to color an image and also used a heart stencil and the Stitched Heart Stax Die-namics to add layers to my card.

Copic colors used: BV000, BV01, R20, R22, R24, R27, C0, C2, C4, E00,n E30, E31, E35

To make it a birthday card, it’s all about the sentiments! I used the Birthday Wishes Die-namics to die-cut the word birthday and used the Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp set to stamp and emboss “hugs & kisses” on my sentiment strip.
