Hello, Friends!
Another Lawn Fawnatics challenge has started and the theme is “Bring it Back” – we’re encouraging you to ouse embellishments that you haven’t used in a while and I’m throwing in buttons on my project.
I wanted to turn my buttons into flowers and used the Easter Party set to create my card today because it had the perfect little leaves in the set for my button flowers and I thought the Easter costume friends would be fun to color!
I stamped and colored my images with Copic Markers. After die-cutting, I added some white gel highlights on the images and adhered my leaves to the buttons to turn them into flowers.
Skin: E04, E51, E00
Hair: E33, E35, E39
Bunny: R20, E50, E30, E33
Chick: R20, Y00, Y02, Y19, YR15
Flower: BG11, BG24, RV52, RV55
Leaves: YG07, YG09
My background is ink-blended with Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks. I sprayed it with water for some texture, then used a stripe of patterned paper from the Gotta Have Gingham Petite Paper Pack to section off the lower portion of my card where I stamped my sentiment.
Finally, my images are attached to my card using foam adhesive for added dimension. I hope you liked this card! If you’ve got buttons, washi, twine, etc., that you haven’t used in a while, pull them out and play along! I can’t wait to see what you make!
