It’s been a few months since I played with foil! Today, I’m sharing a card made using one of the new foil plates from Yana Smakula’s collection! The Foliage Border border set is beautiful that gives you different options so you can make the foliage border as full as you’d like.
I foiled the foliage in green then the flowers and center circle frame in pink. To add some color, I used Copic Markers to fill in the negative space after foiling (V01. V04, G43, G46, RV11, RV13, RV14).
After die-cutting the center circle, I used a foiled sentiment that I had on hand from a previous foil kit and adhered it to the center of the cirlce. Then I began putting together my wreath by adherind two foliage pieces to frame the right and left sides of the circle frame, then used my loose flowers and foliage to add flowers frame my sentiment.
I used a piece of Fun Stamper’s Journey Bubble Gum cardstock to ink-blend some dark pink. I trimmed it down to mat a cardbase later, then used a ruler and my white gel pen to add a line and dot frame. Finally, I adhered my foliage frame and attached the entire panel over my cardbase with foam adhesive. To embellish my card, I used some nuvo drops to add sparkle to my card.
