Spellbinders makes some great dies and I have the pleasure of creating with their new Sunday Drive die set. I love their Trucking Through the Holidays set and still haven’t made the time to play with it, but I love it! The Sunday Drive set is very similar but is a car instead of a truck.
I die-cut all the elements to make a white wedding car. The only things I added color to are the pink cardstock behind the word hitched and gray to the cans strung to the car. I added some pink Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink to the pink cardstock and used Copic markers for the gray cans (C00, C0, C2).
After piecing my car together, I added foam adhesive to the back to add dimension to my image. Before adhering, I used a blank white panel that I trimmed and added an embossed frame by scoring it in my score board.
I positioned where I wanted my image and added some gray with the same gray Copic markers used above to draw the road and then ink-blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to give the background behind the car some color. To finish my card, I added a few jewels.
