My Favorite Things – Wednesday Sketch Challenge #489 – Unicorns and Glitter

Welcome to another Wednesday Sketch Challenge for MFT!

Today’s sketch is pretty open! I decided to use the Unicorns and Glitter set to color an image with Copic markers for The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge for this card.

Gold: Y00, Y35, YR27
Teal: BG11, BG13
Purple: V000, V01, V04
Pink: RV10, RV11, R85
Hair: E33, E37, E39
Skin: R20, E000, E00, E51, E11

The background panel is ink-blended with Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks. After ink-blending, I embossed the stars and splattered the panel with water droplets.

I used twine for my vertical elements from the sketch and matted my ink-blended panel with Cotton Candy card stock for extra color. To finish, I embossed my sentiment, but decided to chop them up instead of leaving it as a strip to fill in the space better.
