What an amazing year it has been since Betsy Veldman started this lovely company! She’s captured our hearts with her beautiful designs and clever dies! I’m in awe and can’t tell you how much I LOVE The Greetery products so I’m absolutely giddy to be a part of this blog hop! We’re kicking off the first day of the blog hop with some fabulous products so let’s dive right in!

The stamp set I’m using today is called Balloon Bouquet. It’s such a beautiful set and I couldn’t decide on colors so I made a set of 3 using purples, pinks and teals. I stamped my balloons and die-cut each with the Big Balloons die set. I also used the balloon string die from this die set for each card in white and colored them with a Copic marker in a coordinating color.

The streamers you see are from the new Twisted Crepe die set. I die-cut them in white and ink-blended with a coordinating ink-color that I used for the balloons.

To give the panels some contrast, I cut some white panels that are 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ and distressed the edges before stamping the sentiments in the bottom right hand corner. I attached them to A2-sized colored panels with foam adhesive before adding the twisted crepe to stream them across the card. Then I attached my balloons using more foam adhesive and finished my cards by embellishing them with some sequins.

My second card features the same Balloon Bouquet stamp set! Instead of stamping the layers inside a balloon, I stamped a border with them by rotating the layers inside my MISTI for equal spacing.

My sentiment is created by combining the Slim Alphabet die set along with the Sentiment Starters die set. I used the Alpha Alignment Guide to ensure perfect alignment of my letters. To finish this card, I added sequins to it as well.
