Welcome to Day 3 of the MFT Stamps release countdown! The new release will be available on Tuesday, June 9th at 10am EST. We are sharing inspiration to get you excited!
Today’s card features the Sunny Vibes set and it makes fora really fun beach scene! I started by stamping and coloring my images with Copic markers.
Copic Marker Colors:
Reds: R22, R24, R29
Grays: C0, CC2, C5, C7
Blues: B0000, B00, B23, B24, B28
Greens: G12, G14, G19, G29
Yellows: Y00, Y04, Y35
Browns: [E50, E30, E31], [E41, E42, E43, E44], [E23, E25]
Pinks: R20, R81, R83, R85
For my background, I first ink-blended the sand with Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks. Then I splattered it with the darker Vintage Photo ink. Next, I ink-blended from the top using Mermaid Lagoon to create the sky. Then to give my scene a horizon of water, I used the new Ocean Motion stencil to stencil in the waves.

I like the degrees of blues for the background ocean and sky plus the splatter on sand. Great scene.
