We’ve got 2 days until the new MFT Release – it goes live on Tuesday at 10am EST. I hope you’re excited. There are a few cute new Die-namics sets for paper piecing. Today, I’m sharing two more birthday themed sets.
Paper piecing can be lots of fun and a huge time saver when you don’t have to do a lot of coloring. I think these die-namics are a great way to make quick and colorful cards.
My first card uses the Frosted Cupcake Die-namics. I die-cut all the components and added some color using some light shades of coordinating Copic coloring.
I used a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die to cut a smaller rectangle to mat an A2-sized card base because I wanted to keep my card clean and simple. My sentiment is stamped from the All the Cupcakes stamp set and I thought it would be fun to add a face with googly eyes using the Straight Up Rainbow Die-namics.
My second card features the Piece of Cake Die-namics with is free with a $60 purchase this month. There are two layers of cake, but I decided to use Copic markers to make it 6 layers for a rainbow cake.
I used the Impact Alphabet Die-namics to spell the word happy with the Piece of Cake replacing the letter “A” and backed these colorful letters with an offset letter die cut in black card stock too.
