My Favorite Things – MFT & Friends – Big Birthday Wishes

Hi Friends!

The MFT July Release is here! We are so excited to celebrate with you! I’ve created a card with a bold statement today using two new products.

I first used the Big Balloon stencil to ink-blend my balloons using Distress Oxide Inks in Worn Lipstick, Peacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet. I love the natural colors that appear from the colors overlapping.

I used the Big Birthday Wishes Die-namics to cut my panel, added acetate to it to create a shaker window, then mounted it to a piece of black cardstock after filling it with iridescent flat sequins. It’s so cool the way they reflect the light against the dark background!

I hope you enjoyed this card! It’s a quick way to make a fun birthday card with a bold statement!

  9. Wow! Beautiful card! Love the ink blending using the balloon stencil! Love that you turned it into a shaker! The black cardstock with iridescent sequins really makes it pop! Tfs Hugs and blessings, Christine
