Clearly Besotted – Treehouse Treasure

Hi Friends!

I’m really enjoying playing with all the different brands! Today’s card is featuring Clearly Besotted! I’ve always loved Clearly Besotted stamps and think their illustrations are adorable!

My card today uses the Treehouse Treasure stamp set. My husband dreams and talks of building a treehouse for our kids often, so when I saw this set, I felt I needed to use it! I stamped and colored the images with Copic markers and fussy cut everything – phew!

Copics used:
Greens: G03, G05, G07, G09, G29
Browns: E000, E50, E51, E30, E32, EE34, E35, E37, E39, E59
Grays: C0, C1, C3, C5, C7
Blues: B000, B01, B04
Teals: BG11, BG15
Pinks/Reds: R20, R22, R24, R27
Orange: Y38

I masked off a rectangle border using masking tape and ink-blended a background using Lucky Clover, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks and trimmed it 1/4″ all the way around to mat my A2-sized card base.

To create my scene, I adhered everything over the masked background using foam adhesive to give it all lots of dimension. My sentiment is embossed in white over black cardstock. To finish, I attached the entire panel to my card base using more foam adhesive for extra dimension.
