Hi, Friends!

It’s release night for Gina K. Designs! I’ve made a card using the Delightful Blooms set from Gina K. Designs today! The illustrator is Arjita Singh and I just LOVE her floral bouquets!

The set is a 6″ x 8″ set with two large bouquets so I selected one to stamp and watercolor for today’s project. I stamped on watercolor cardstock using a light ink to do no-line watercoloring with Daniel Smith watercolors: DS:  Quin Rose, Quin Violet, Sap Green, Deep Sap Green, Hooker’s Green, New Gamboge.

When I was done painting, I fussy cut the image – I know, I know…but it really wasn’t bad and it’s so worth it for the dimension! I added foam adhesive to the back and then set it aside to work on my background. I cut a piece of gray/beige cardstock and ink-blended half of it at a diagonal with Worn Lipstick/Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Ink.

After attaching my image, I stamped the sentiment, then masked it off before splattering my entire project with some light splatters of white paint.
