Is everyone here a fan of Laura Bassen (aka Laura Fadora)? She is the queen of geometric shapes and designed the amazing dies for my project today – so I felt like I have created something very Laura Fadora with my favorite colors! I’m using both the Geometric Builder Squares and Geometric Builder Circles today to complete the patterns on my cards.

You can see the two dies that I used to create today’s cards. I selected from Simon Says Stamp cardstock in Fog, Lavender, Mint, and Cotton Candy and die-cut all the squares and circles (which turn out to be smaller squares and triagular wedges). Then I adhered each wedge to the smaller squares and then set off to create bigger squares with the patterns.

My first card comprises of 6 squares with repeated patterns that I adhered over fog cardstock.

I broke up the squares/circles for the seccond card to create a slightly different layout. Both cards use the XL Greetings stamp and dies. I embossed them in white over black cardstock and attached them to my cards using foam adhesive to give everything extra dimension. According to Laura, “dimension is life” and I would have to agree!

Hindsight, I should’ve added some jewels or sequins, but they are still clean and fun cards and I hope you like them! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
