Simon Says Stamp – Altenew STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

Hello again!

Welcome back for more Stamptember inspiration! Tonight, the Altenew Framed Friendship set is released and it’s a beautiful set – I hope you’re excited!

To make my card, I started by embossing the image as well as the frame on the opposite corner of my image using gold embossing powder. Then I stamped on masking paper to mask my floral bouquet to ink-blend the background using Distress Oxide Inks in Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio (the two latter colors are blended together very softly to fade into white).

When I was done coloring with Copic markers, I stamped my sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink for a crisp sentiment.

Copic colors used:
Yellows: Y00, Y11, Y38
Browns: E33, E37, E39
Blues: B60, B63, B66, B79
Pinks: R81, R83, R85, R89
Greens: G21, G24, G03, G09, G28

I felt my card needed some texture, so I splattered it with fine white and black paint. To finish, I embellished it with some clear droplets and then trimmed my panel to mat an A2-sized cardbase and adhered it with a layer of foam adhesive to give my card some added dimension.
