Welcome back for another STAMPtember release! Tonight, we’re featuring a beautiful collaborative set from Paper Rose. The Long Stem Flowers set is a 6″ x 8″ set with beautiful stems and flowers (which I think are poppies). Naturally, I decided to create a slimline card with these long stem flowers :).

I stamped my images on watercolor cardstock, first positioning my flowers where I wanted them to be. Then I stamped my stems, manipulating them a tad on my MISTI so that none of the stems overlapped.

I used Karin markers to watercolor my images today. I scribbled the color onto a palette and picked it up to transfer to my cardstock using a damp watercolor brush. I usually apply direct too paper, but for this card, I thought maybe I’d get more control since I blended 3 different colors for the petals.

After coloring, I die-cut the panel using the Slimline Nested Rectangles. Then I embossed my sentiment at the bottom. I decided I wanted more texture, so I splattered the panel with white and gold paint. To finish, I added some twine and iridescent sequins and attached my panel to a slimline cardbase.
