Simon Says Stamp – Hero Arts STAMPtember® 2020 Exclusive Collaboration

Hi Friends!

The STAMPtember collaboration being featured tonight is Hero Art’s Park Scene! Hero Arts is an AMAZING company and if you remember, I designed for them a while back. It’s so nice to be able to support this collaboration!

For tonight’s scene, I first stamped the landscape in the background in black over white cardstock. Then I stamped the silhouette of the tree, birds, and girl on the bike. Then I stamped the landscape stamp on masking paper to ink-blend the sky and park separately using Distress Oxide Ink.

Grass: Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles
Sky: Tattered Rose, Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch

I stamped the lamp post, bench and large tree on separate cardstock to color with Copic markers so that I could fussy cut and add more dimension to my cards using foam tape.

Browns: E31, E35, E37
Grays: C1, C3, C5
Yellows: Y11, Y06, Y35
Greens big tree: YG11, YG05, YG09
Greens small tree: G24, G28, G29

After ink-blending, I sprayed my panel with some water to give it texture, then trimmed it down 1/4″ all the way around before attaching my larger images with foam tape. To finish, I stamped a sentiment in the big open area at the bottom left.
